Fabrication & Welding Solutions’ History

Established in 1995, Fabrication & Welding Solutions was founded by Neil who started out manufacturing metal furniture and bed frames in London before moving into more specialist areas like medical equipment and handrail fabrication. In the early days, when the company still traded under N Clark Fabrications, some prestigious contracts were won including supplying restaurant furniture for the DTI and office furniture for Konica cameras, for example. This allowed the company to grow, taking on more and more bespoke work across the country.

Fabrication & Welding Solutions Today

Nowadays, we work for companies operating in numerous sectors. Our healthcare sector work, for instance, includes making products such as hoists, lifting aids and bath seats. We make handrails in both mild steel and stainless steel and also manufacture structural fabrications including staircases, balconies and portal frames for construction sector businesses. We have our own sheet metal fabrication facilities and sometimes work for main contractors who have won contracts with household names, such as Coca-Cola, Merrill Lynch and Marks and Spencer to name but a few.

This is the 2nd time I've used this small Fabrication site. The 1st time I needed some welding for an Outboard Motor bracket for a boat approx 12 years ago absolutly no issues on a small amount of welding. Went there last week with a 24" Plow Disc to turn into a Very Large Cooking Discarda. So 2 handles welded on and a hole in the middle filled. Perfect I have sanded it down to bright metal, made Non-Stick by seasoning. Have used it already and works fine as it should for large cooking sessions. All very helpful there! Having used it on many occasions absolutely FAB for small or large garden or camping sessions, will add more photos.
